Project 3: Formal proposal for final annotated bibliography project

Due: 9 April 2008

Write at least a three-paragraph description of your proposed term project.  Note that this is a formal proposal, so please use a professional writing style.  Include the following information in your proposal:

• Project title
• Description of the topic
• Scope of the project as you foresee it at this point (e.g., time frame or period)
• The meaning of this project to you (e.g., does it bear influence on your area of performance or research, or does it help you to research for an assignment in another course)
• What have you done to date to explore this topic

Also attempt to write citations and annotations for at least four key resources you have discovered to date.  At the end of your proposal, cite these resources in an annotated bibliography using either Chicago Manual of Style (15^th ed.) or Turabian (6^th ed.). (You may use APA 5^th ed. if you clear this with me in advance.)  Try to have at least one book and one periodical article among these four items to practice writing different types of citations.
