The Ackerman Library contains much of the collection from the William Oxley Thompson Memorial (Main) Library, currently undergoing a three-year renovation. Some of the Circulating books from the Thompson Library were transferred to the Book Depository and must be paged for delivery to a central campus library location.
In addition to the large circulating collection, the Ackerman Library also houses microforms, government documents, maps, and international studies materials. The Library also offers the expertise of many of the Thompson Library's librarians, as well as computer access and study space.

Free CABS bus service to the Book Depository and the Ackerman Library begins September 18. The Library/Buckeye Village bus will go to the Ackerman Library seven days a week, and to the Depository Monday through Friday. There is also parking available at the Ackerman Library; Ackerman parking lots require at least a "CX" parking tag.
